  • Copyright

    Before an article is accepted, the author must fill out a "copyright agreement", including the date, author name, author address contribute, contribute code, magazines, the author autographed, etc, to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of authors and publishers. Once the article has been adopted, the article can be used without the consent of the publisher permission for teaching and academic purpose. The authors should recognize the legitimate rights and interests of publishers and publishers have the right of violations. Publishers can resell the release of the institutions and derivative works.   • Highlights

    Highlights are a short collection of bullet points that convey the core findings and provide readers with a quick textual overview of the article. Two or three sentences (of no more than 40 words) summarize the main message and the characters. The length of an individual bullet point should not exceed 85 characters (including spaces). Only the core results of the paper should be covered. Research Highlights are continuously published online.

  • Conflict of Interest

    If the authors submit your paper to our journal, you must state whether it refers to the direct or indirect financial or personal interests. The submission should contain a "conflict of interest", which explains every possibility in the manuscript will bring potential conflicts of interest for the author after publishing.
    Conflict of interest statement:
    1. Academic disputes and author's knowledge: Academic disputes mean that authors have different academic understanding on this research topic. Author's knowledge refers that a part of the authors did not get any information on acceptance in the process of publishing paper, or there is lack of communication each other among a number of co-authors. These conflicts may not lead to inaccurate and biased.
    2. Capital: Whether the article should be published or not will influence the author to get salary, equipment, supplies, attending conference and travel expenses and so on.
    3. During publishing process including receiving manuscripts, preliminary review, peer review, selection and finalizing and so on, editors must be justice. They are forbidden to make the decision based on interpersonal relationships, economic interests and professional preferences.
    4. Reviewer must show public interests conflict to editor. It is necessary that reviewer should avoid reviewing manuscripts with conflicts of interest. Reviewers should specify that there isn’t a conflict of interest, and he can’t use the contents of the article and let others to use it before publication. Reviewers should return or destroy all the files about manuscript after providing reviewing opinions. If there is no conflict of interest, authors should declare " There are no problems in the conflict of interest".

  • Randomized drug clinical studies

    Imedicine is an international journal that emphasizes on experimental therapeutics, particularly targeted at therapies for clinical trial studies on rodent and primate in the broad area of basic and translational medicine, including the molecular genetics and cell biology, molecular pathology, cancer, viral oncology, metastasis, and chemoprevention. The corresponding author must confirm all experiments were executed in line with relevant guidelines. Authors should submit an informed consent for experimentation with experimental animals in the manuscript. The privacy rights of operation procedure must always be observed. To pursue safe and efficient treatment for clinical symptoms in a high empirical way, more emphasis should be placed on finding and understanding biological mechanisms.

  • Use of Human subject and animals

    Policy statement involves the use of human participants and/or animals. When reporting studies involve human participants, the author should ensure that his work has been carried out in accordance with the ethical standards as published in the 1964 "Declaration of Helsinki for experiments involving humans". Announcement about research assentation is also necessary in submitted manuscript. Moreover, high degree of attention deserves being attached on privacy of participates. Experiments of animals should be carried out in accordance with the international, national, and/or institutional guidelines and have been approved by a research ethics committee at the institution (NIH Publications No. 8023, revised 1978). All animal study must be ensured that they comply with the ARRIVE guidelines.

  • Cover Letter

    Cover Letter are short reports of original research which is focused on an outstanding finding in other fields. Each submission should be accompanied by a cover letter, which should contain a brief explanation of what was previously known, the conceptual advance provided by the findings, and the significance of the findings to a broad readership. The cover letter is confidential to the editors and will not be seen by reviewers.

  • Parts of a Manuscript Title

    Titles do not exceed two lines in print. This equates to 90 characters (including spaces) for Letters, or 75 characters (including spaces) for Articles. Titles do not normally include numbers, acronyms, abbreviations or punctuation. Titles should include sufficient detail for indexing purposes and be general enough for readers to appreciate what the paper reports. The title should convey the conceptual significance of the paper to a broad readership.

  • Title page

    Title should be brief, clear, generality, and it is conducive to be retrieved by system. At the same time, the reader through the title can roughly understand the contents of the paper, and it´s professional characteristics and disciplines. Corresponding author: The author is responsible for correspondence and proof about the manuscript. The author’s name, address phone and fax number, complete E-mail address should be offered. It is full effectively to ensure that the corresponding author informationcan facilitate to contact the corresponding author when the articles need changed and published. Running head/title:You should provide a brief article title and it is generally shorter than the title, less than 40 English characters (including Spaces). Statistical data :You should provide the number of word count and page Numbers, charts and other relevant information. Grant or support: You should briefly explain the source of funds.

  • Abstract

    The manuscript should contain an abstract. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stood alone. The abstract of an article should be comprehensible and clear for readers before they read the paper It is a concise and accurate summary no more than 250 words. The abstract should summarize the problem or objective of your research, and its method, results, and conclusions. Use of abbreviations should be avoided and the references should not be cited in the abstract. Keywords Immediately after the abstract, provide three to ten key words, using American spelling and avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts. Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes,summed up the central theme factors and qualifying the theme of factors, according to need to select and trade-offs,pay attention to the key words the comprehensiveness and specificity. The selected words must be clear, definite, avoid ambiguity. nter the keywords for the manuscript ,with each keyword separated by a semicolon.

    Reference in text:
    References in the text would be designated by name and year in parentheses. In-text Citation: Some examples:

    Reference list:
    The reference list includes only papers that have been published or accepted for publication. Unpublished works and informal communications should not be used as supportive material for a reference list. The list of reference should be alphabetized by the first name of each paper. All authors should be included in reference lists and authors should be listed last name first, followed by first name and depend middle initial, name format: Chen ZW or Smith J.

  • Funding Sources

    You are requested to identify who provides financial support for the research. If the funding resources have so much involvement in the study design, in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data or in the writting of the manuscript, the authors should state.

  • Graphics preparation

    The preferred submission procedure is to embed graphic files in the word processing document. It may be helpful to print the document with embedded graphics on a laser printer to verify that all artwork is clear and legible. It is also acceptable to submit graphics as separate files. Please see below for acceptable file types and specifications. General points • Make sure you use uniform lettering and sizing of your original artwork. • Preferred fonts: Arial (or Helvetica), Times New Roman (or Times), Symbol, Courier. • Number the illustrations according to their sequence in the text. • Use a logical naming convention for your artwork files. • Indicate per figure if it is a single, 1.5 or 2-column fitting image. • For Word submissions only, you may still provide figures and their captions, and tables within a single file at the revision stage. • Please note that individual figure files larger than 10 MB must be provided in separate source files. Formats Regardless of the application used, when your electronic artwork is finalized, please 'save as' or convert the images to one of the following formats (note the resolution requirements for line drawings, halftones, and line/halftone combinations given below): EPS (or PDF): Vector drawings. Embed the font or save the text as 'graphics'. Ensure that all fonts are converted to outlines or embedded in the graphic file. The document settings should be in RGB mode. Please note that while EPS files are accepted, the vector-based graphics will be rasterized for production TIFF (or JPG): Color or grayscale photographs (halftones): always use a minimum of 300 dpi. TIFF (or JPG): Bitmapped line drawings: Black & White line art use a minimum of 1200 dpi.   • Acknowledgements

    Please acknowledge anyone who contributed towards the article and anyone who provided professional writing services or materials. Authors should obtain permission to acknowledge from all those mentioned in the Acknowledgements section. If you do not have anyone to acknowledge, please write "Not applicable" in this section.

  • Supplementary material

    Any additional figures or tables related to the research should be provided. Please see the “Graphics preparation ” to format figures or tables.
    Besides, for changes to authorship: the authors are expected to consider carefully the list and order of authors before submitting their manuscript and provide the definitive list of authors at the time of the original submission. Any addition, deletion or rearrangement of author names in the authorship list should be made only before the manuscript has been accepted and only if approved by the journal Editor. To request such a change, the Editor must receive the following from the corresponding author: (a) the reason for the change in author list and (b) written confirmation (e-mail, letter) from all authors that they agree with the addition, removal or rearrangement. In the case of addition or removal of authors, this includes confirmation from the author being added or removed. Only in exceptional circumstances will the Editor consider the addition, deletion or rearrangement of authors after the manuscript has been accepted. While the Editor considers the request, publication of the manuscript will be suspended. If the manuscript has already been published in an online issue, any requests approved by the Editor will result in a corrigendum.

After Acceptance
  • Open access

    An open access publication fee is payable by authors or on their behalf e.g. by their research funder or institution. Open access publishing is available to authors of primary research articles who wish to make their article available to non-subscribers on publication, or whose funding agency requires grantees to archive the final version of their article. For our authors, providing open access is a condition of funding. We offer a broad range of author options, enabling authors to publish their material in quality open access journals with a high degree of peer review integrity.

  • Publication Licenses

    Imedicine does not require authors of original research papers to assign copyright of their published contributions. Authors grant Imedicine an exclusive license to publish, in return for which they can re-use their papers in their future printed work. Imedicine’s author license page provides details of the policy and a sample form. Authors are encouraged to submit their version of the accepted, peer-reviewed manuscript to their funding body's archive for public release at six months after publication. In addition, authors are encouraged to archive their version of the manuscript in their institution's repositories (as well as on their personal websites), also at six months after the original publication. Authors should cite the publication reference and doi number on any deposited version, and provide a link from it to the published article on the Imedicine website. Imedicine recognizes the efforts of funding bodies to increase access of the research they fund, and strongly encourages authors to participate in such efforts.

  • Online proof correction

    Corresponding authors will receive an e-mail with a link to our online proofing system, allowing correction of proofs online. In this environment , you can also comment on figures/tables and answer questions from the Copy Editor. Web-based proofing provides a faster and less error-prone process by allowing you to directly type your corrections, eliminating the potential introduction of errors. It is preferred that you can still choose to annotate and upload your edits on the PDF version. All instructions for proofing will be given in the e-mail to send to authors, including alternative methods to the online version and PDF. We will do everything possible to get your article published quickly and accurately. Please use this proof only for checking the typesetting, editing, completeness and correctness of the text, tables and figures. Significant changes to the article as accepted for publication will only be considered at this stage with permission from the Editor. It is important to ensure that all corrections are sent back to us in one communication. Please check carefully before replying, as inclusion of any subsequent corrections cannot be guaranteed. Proofreading is solely your responsibility.

  • Publication Charges

    If you want to publish your research results in "Imedicine", which is introduced to readers and recognized by the reader and the society, so as to play their role, then you need to pay some fees according to actual condition including manuscript handling, layout, color version and open access fee, etc. 1、Page Charges: No page charges will be levied to authors for the publication of their Review Articles. For published research articles, however, the publication charges are $320 USD, and for a contribution of Short Communication/Letters the publication charges are $165 USD. 2、Publication charges: There is no submission fee for Research in Imedicine. Colour charges: If it is necessary for the figures to be reproduced in colour in the print version, a charge will apply. Charges for colour figures are £250 per figure ($395 US Dollars; $385 Australian Dollars; 315 Euros). If you wish to have more than 4 colour figures, figures 5 and above will be charged at £50 per figure ($80 US Dollars; $75 Australian Dollars; 63 Euros). Depending on your location, these charges may be subject to Value Added Tax.

  • Offprints

    The corresponding author, at no cost, will be provided with a personalized link providing 50 days free access to the final published version of the article on our journal’s website. For an extra charge, paper offprints can be ordered via the offprint order form which is sent once the article is accepted for publication. Both corresponding and co-authors may order offprints at any time via our journal’s website.
